John Stefanac
VP & President, SEA & Pacific, Qualcomm

John Stefanac

John Stefanac is president of Qualcomm Southeast Asia & Pacific. Based in Hong Kong, Stefanac oversees the execution of Qualcomm's market strategies and manage the Company's business operations throughout the region.

Stefanac has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and information technologies industries. He has joined Qualcomm from Nokia Siemens Networks where, as vice president and general manager of Asia/Pacific, he led the company's regional marketing and sales efforts.

Previously, he served as vice president of sales and business development Asia/Pacific for Flextronics Network Services in Singapore. Stefanac also spent more than 10 years in leadership positions at Lucent Technologies/AT&T in Australia and Singapore, managing the company's in-country sales of optical networking equipment, wireless and broadband systems and software products to service providers.

Stefanac earned a Master's of Business Administration from Henley School of Management in the United Kingdom.

David Nash
Vice President, Business Development – Qualcomm CDMA Technologies

David Nash

David Nash started his wireless career with Pactel Cellular in 1989 before joining Qualcomm, Inc. in 1997. He’s held various Technical Support and Sales/Marketing positions within Qualcomm and has been in his current role with Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT) for six years. In this position David’s focus is on interfacing with UMTS Operators on technology direction, devices needs, and giving guidance on QCT solutions. He is also leading Qualcomm’s global efforts to help drive 3G technology and devices in the open market channels.

Nakul Duggal
Vice President, Engineering Services Group, Qualcomm

Nakul Duggal

Nakul Duggal serves as Vice President for Qualcomm’s Engineering Services Group (ESG) where he leads the OMH™ initiative for Qualcomm. In addition to providing leadership on strategy and services for the group, he directs a cross-functional team with responsibilities ranging from program management, product management, engineering, and business development teams worldwide.

Duggal joined Qualcomm in 1995 as an engineer focused on the company’s commercial base station and infrastructure business. Subsequent successes in both engineering and project lead roles elevated Duggal to various management positions within Qualcomm’s ESG, where he continues to focus on the development and commercialization of CDMA and UMTS technologies.

Prior to joining Qualcomm, Duggal was a product engineer at Tata Telecom in India, where he was responsible for product management and systems engineering for the company’s wire-line switching systems.

Duggal holds a BSEE degree from Maharaja Sayajirao University, India and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Los Angeles Anderson School of Management.

Sherwin Wang
Director of Business Development, SEA & Pacific, Qualcomm

Sherwin Wang

Sherwin Wang is the director of business development for the Southeast Asia and Pacific region. In this capacity, Wang works closely with Qualcomm’s 3G ecosystem partners to bring the latest mobile innovations to these markets.

Prior to this role, Wang was responsible for international business development in Qualcomm’s chipset division where he led efforts to expand CDMA chipset business throughout the Southeast Asia, India, and Middle East Africa regions.

Wang joined Qualcomm in 2007. His expertise in the telecoms industry spans over 15 years, with telecom engineering, marketing and sales experience at world-leading telecom companies including Nortel Networks and Hughes Network Systems.

Wang received his Master of Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Sanjeet Pandit
Director of Business Development

Sanjeet Pandit

Sanjeet Pandit is the director of business development for Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT), a division of Qualcomm Incorporated. In this role, Pandit is responsible for Carrier and Open Market Business Development in SEAP and India/South Asia, working with carriers and OEMs and private labels to bring to market QCT-based devices.

Pandit’s expertise in the telecom industry spans over 17 years, focused on sales and business development. He joined Qualcomm in late 1995 and moved to Ericsson in 1999 following the sale of the infrastructure division of Qualcomm. At Ericsson, Pandit was recognised for his sales achievements when the company awarded him Sales Person of the year in 2005. In 2006 he worked for ZTE USA as the Head of Global Business Development and Sales and rejoined Qualcomm in Jan 2007.

Sanjeet holds a Computer Engineering degree and Master of Business Administration. He has also Completed his Advance Management Program for University of Southern California, Los Angeles.

David Lieber
Platform Product Management, Qualcomm

David Lieber

David Lieber currently works on defining Qualcomm’s portfolio of Android and WinPhone7 Turnkey Reference Design platforms. This new initiative will help OEMs/ODMs improve their Time-to-Market (TTM), reduce development costs and provide fully tested and commercial ready products.

David has almost 15 years of mobile and wireless experience, ranging from cellular infrastructure and capacity planning, handset product feature definition and carrier requirements management, mobile content management and distribution to device and platform definition at companies likes of Ericsson, Kyocera and Qualcomm.

Mr. Lieber holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University in New Jersey as well as a Masters in Business Administration from San Diego University.
